Tour Down Under with a large start list; Portuguese and Brazilian confirmed for the race

The Tour Down Under is the first major road race of the season, opening the World Tour races. The competition will take place from January 16 to 21 in Australia.

The race will mark the debut of Portuguese rider António Morgado in the World Tour, after signing a contract until 2027 with UAE Team Emirates.

Another Portuguese-speaking rider present is Vinícius Rangel, in the year that concludes his contract with Movistar Team. The Brazilian, after an excellent start in 2023, couldn’t maintain strong performances throughout the rest of the year. Therefore, he needs consistent results to stay in the elite of world cycling in 2025.
