The teams that will receive wild cards for all Grand Tours in 2024 have been determined

The Lotto Dstny and Israel-Premier Tech teams have distinguished themselves as the top ProTeams in 2023, enjoying a substantial advantage for some time. As a result, they have earned the right to participate in all WorldTour races, including the three Grand Tours: Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España, thanks to the guaranteed wildcards.

In a tight competition for third place, the Uno-X and TotalEnergies teams have been battling in recent weeks. This third place guarantees a wildcard for all WorldTour one-day races, offering the freedom to participate or not.

In this contest, Uno-X secures the coveted 3rd spot. Under the technical leadership of Jens Haugland, the Uno-X team has gained an advantage over TotalEnergies, a gap that the French team cannot overcome anymore. Some TotalEnergies riders may still participate in the Chrono des Nations, but for most of the team, the 2023 season has come to an end. Meanwhile, Uno-X continues its participation in events like the Giro del Veneto and the Veneto Classic.

Last season, Lotto Dstny and TotalEnergies had a guaranteed wildcard for all WorldTour races, while Israel-Premier Tech initially had certainty only for all one-day WorldTour events. However, the UCI decided to extend this wildcard, which means that the Israel team also received starting rights for all WorldTour stage races. As a result, Israel-Premier Tech also ended up receiving a wildcard from the organizers of the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France for this year.
