Alongside the recent WorldTour kit releases, we have also observed changes in the bikes of each team over the past few weeks. INEOS Grenadiers has shared on its social media platforms the new Pinarello Dogma F, which initially seems to have maintained a paint scheme similar to the previous season. However, a closer analysis reveals significant distinctions between the two bikes.
Blue replaced by black
The Pinarello Dogma F 2023 featured a navy blue rear that transformed into red and orange at the front. This navy blue has been replaced not only in the team’s racing kit but also on the bike, with a black shade. The black rises along the down and top tube before transitioning to a lighter orange hue.
This design change is more than just an aesthetic decision. The team revealed that the use of black paint in a larger part of the frame assembly reduces weight. While it’s only a few grams, for a team that brought marginal gains to the WorldTour, this is certainly a positive development.
Front fork
A small change in the fork is also noticeable, with the 2024 bikes featuring an entirely orange fork, alongside some subtle details. This contrasts with the fork from the previous year, which had navy blue at the bottom.
Saddle change to Prologo
The team will now be using saddles from the Italian brand Prologo in a switch for 2024. The Italian brand is a favorite in the professional peloton and has now joined the team after having been used by the team in 2010 and 2011.
Groupset remains unchanged for the upcoming season
Regarding the equipment used on the bike, there has been no change. As one of the premium WorldTour teams from Shimano, they are using the complete Dura-Ace equipment set, including wheels and pedals, along with the power meter on the crankset from the same brand.
