Some bikes have an aesthetic that conveys a sense of speed, and the Cervélo P5 that Primoz Roglic used in the last Giro d’Italia is definitely one of them. With its glossy paint and the Olympic rings decorating the frame, along with the gleaming golden Cervélo logo, the bike has a stunning look.

The latest version of the Cervélo P5 was released in 2019, with Cervélo claiming at the time of the launch that it was the fastest bike they had ever tested, making significant improvements compared to its predecessor that did not use disc brakes.
The Slovenian rider used Vision TT Metron TFE Pro P5 aero bars, specifically designed for the P5.
Roglic’s bike featured an aerodynamic disc wheel, which seemed to be a 58T with a 10-26T cassette. He chose to use a 1x setup, likely due to the relatively flat terrain he encountered during the time trials in the Giro d’Italia.

Roglic used Speedplay aerodynamic pedals, which assist in aerodynamics by reducing height and thus providing a lower center of gravity.
The bike featured a Fizik time trial saddle with a cutout nose to help the rider sit in a forward and aggressive position.
To conclude, Roglic’s bike featured a Reserve 77 Infinity Disc wheel. He used a front wheel with a 77mm rim depth, fitted with Vittoria Corsa Graphene 2.0 25mm tires on the front wheel and a Reserve disc wheel on the rear.
