On a day of many team presentations, the Kazakh squad first introduced all 29 cyclists for the upcoming season and shortly after unveiled the new wheel supplier and uniforms for 2024.
FSA-Vision Wheels
The team announced a new two-year partnership with one of the world leaders in bicycle wheels: FSA-Vision.
“I would like to welcome FSA-Vision as our new partner and official wheel supplier. It’s great news for the team, and I’m happy to enter the upcoming season with Vision wheels. The highest quality and standards, attention to every little detail, and the success achieved in cycling convinced us that this could be a missing piece of the puzzle that will allow the team to return to the path of victory,” stated Alexandr Vinokurov.
New uniforms for 2024
This Sunday, the Astana Qazaqstan team unveiled its uniform for 2024. At first glance, the Kazakh team displays a notable color change while maintaining a familiar look for most team enthusiasts.
Yellow and dark blue patterns have been added to the jersey, representing the many minerals and rocks that Kazakhstan has to offer. Additionally, the flag of Kazakhstan should also be recognizable. Patterns that were also visible in the past Tour de France and seem to have been repeated.
It’s easy to explain why Astana chose this outfit. The team decided to enter into a partnership with KAZ Minerals earlier this year. Some other sponsors, such as Freedom Broker, can also be found on the uniform.
