In the 4th stage, the peloton departs from Andorra La Vella towards the Costa Daurada. It’s a good opportunity for GC riders who lost time to recover. Also, a good moment for sprinter teams to head towards one of the finishes that will likely be decided in a sprint in the city of Tarragona.
During the stage, there are two ascents, Alto de Belltall (9.3 km at 3.7%) and Coll de Lilla (5.2 km at 4.9%), but these shouldn’t pose many problems for the sprinters. Mainly because the last 30 kilometers are mostly downhill. After the final turn, there will be an ascent, around 450 meters at 4.6%.
