Following the result of the third stage of the Volta ao Algarve, with Wout van Aert’s victory, the general classification is now available. Daniel Felipe Martínez is the leader, followed by Remco Evenepoel (nominated as favorite by Wout van Aert) and Sepp Kuss.
With this Friday’s result (16), a significant change in Wout van Aert’s classification, which gained 7 positions and jumped to 7th. Thomas Pidcock moved up one place and is now 6th.
