Mark Cavendish will not start his final cycling season in Europe, Australia, or the Middle East but rather in South America. At least that’s what the Italian journalist Ciro Scognamiglio from La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
Cavendish in Colombia
Cavendish (Astana Qazaqstan Team) has started his campaign in the Middle East in the last two seasons, but he seems to be opting for the Tour Colombia as the opening race in 2024. In the past, the Vuelta a San Juan in Argentina has been Cavendish’s seasonal opener more than once, but the sprinter has not yet started his cycling campaign on Colombian soil.
