On the next Tuesday, October 3rd, the 102nd Tre Valli Varesini will take place, marking the penultimate Italian classic race before the Il Lombardia. In the 2022 edition, this race was won by Tadej Pogacar, who defeated Sergio Higuita and Alejandro Valverde in the final sprint. This year, the new edition is expected to provide an exciting spectacle once again, as none other than Primoz Roglic will be present.
The one-day race traditionally starts in Busto Arsizio, a city in the southernmost part of the Varese province. Following that, cyclists will enter the city of Varese, covering a total distance of 196 km.
