Juan Sebastián Molano won the fifth stage of the Tour of Guangxi. The Colombian defeated Olav Kooij in a sprint finish. Milan Vader continues to lead by safely arriving with the peloton.
On the penultimate day of the Tour of Guangxi, the cyclists faced the longest stage of the competition. They covered 209 km from the industrial city of Liuzhou to the tourist destination of Guilin. There were some climbs in the final part of the stage, but the riders didn’t encounter significant difficulties.
Jonathan Milan initiated the sprint, with Olav Kooij on his wheel. The Dutchman made his move, but in turn, Juan Sebastián Molano was right behind him. The Colombian passed on the left and claimed the victory. Kooij had to settle for second place, while Tobias Lund Andresen finished third. Fourth and fifth places went to Jonathan Milan and Arvid de Kleijn.
