After an explosive first stage, with no ascents and which was decided in a massive sprint, the second stage of the Tour Colombia, this Wednesday, continues towards Boyacá covering 168.6 kilometers between Paipa and Santa Rosa Viterbo. A day that promises many attacks with three categorized climbs.
Three ascents for climbers
After the start, the stage is uphill for practically 50 km to the top of the category 4 “Alto Moral” mountain. Soon after this ascent, it will be a constant up and down until the same ascent is faced by another face, in this case the “High Moral” becomes category 3.
Last ascent of the stage
After this passage, the peloton will descend towards the last mountain of the day, Santa Rosa Viterbo with an altitude of 2760 meters above sea level. The mountain is divided into two parts, with the first heading towards Alto Malterias, and shortly after the finish, in a 3.4 kilometer climb where the favorites must begin to demonstrate their strength.
