Tom Pidcock will not be present this Thursday at the X²O Badkamers Trofee in Koksijde. The cyclist from INEOS Grenadiers fell ill, as reported by the Dutch website Wielerflits, after consulting the race organization. Pidcock has also been withdrawn from the starting list for the Cyclocross Gullegem, scheduled for next Saturday.
The challenge against Van der Poel and Wout van Aert will have to wait for another date.
In the Koksijde race, Pidcock would have faced once again Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert, who have already confirmed their presence. However, the showdown between the three giants will have to be rescheduled. The British cyclist also had Cyclocross Gullegem in his schedule for this Saturday, but he has also canceled his participation with the organization.
The Zonhoven World Cup (Sunday) next weekend is still on his schedule, and there is no information about Tom Pidcock’s presence. After that, he had a planned week of rest.
