It’s not surprising that Tadej Pogacar continues to hold a higher position. After all, the Slovenian cyclist has been a dominant figure throughout the entire season. During the spring, he secured victories in nearly every competition he participated in. Additionally, he secured a second-place finish in the Tour de France and clinched a bronze medal in the World Cup.
At the moment, Pogacar has accumulated a score of 7,835.9 points, significantly ahead of his next competitor, Remco Evenepoel. The current time trial world champion holds a score of 5,225.2 points. He recently surpassed Wout van Aert, who remains in third place with 5,122 points and has recorded only two victories this season.
