Tadej Pogacar has the highest salary in world cycling; check out the 10 highest-paid cyclists in the world

La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that Pogacar is leading the WorldTour in isolation with a six-million-euro contract. Recently, the Slovenian cyclist extended his contract until 2027. The next cyclists on the list might be surprising, as the INEOS Grenadiers have many cyclists on this list, despite not having much success recently.

Always remembering that these values correspond to what the teams remunerate; these cyclists often also have personal sponsorships. For instance, Pidcock and Wout Van Aert have contracts with RedBull, and Mathieu Van der Poel has a deal with Lamborghini, which sometimes can exceed the amounts paid by the teams.

Tom Pidcock in 2nd position

Tom Pidcock is in second place with 4 million euros, followed by his teammates Geraint Thomas (3.5 million euros) and Egan Bernal (3 million euros). The top 5 is completed by Primoz Roglic. The Slovenian earned 2.9 million euros at Jumbo-Visma.

However, there is speculation that Roglic, now at Bora-Hansgrohe, his new team, will have a salary comparable to Pidcock’s in 2024, around 4 million Euros.

There are still several important players in the top 10, such as Wout van Aert, Remco Evenepoel, and Mathieu van der Poel, Jonas Vingegaard (2.5 million euros), and Julian Alaphilippe (2.3 million euros). Van Aert, Evenepoel, and Van der Poel receive two million euros.
