Next weekend, the Giro dell’Emilia, one of the main races of the 2023 season, will take place. The competition is scheduled for next Saturday (30th September) and will be broadcasted on RAI Sport, as well as Eurosport for the entire Europe.
The race promises a lot of action, especially in the finish, where cyclists will enter a circuit near the Basilica of San Luca in Bologna. The finish, featuring a climb, traditionally separates the contenders for victory.
The Italian race covers 204.9km and boasts a powerful start list already confirmed. Names like Tadej Pogacar, Primoz Roglic, Jai Hindley, Simon Yates, and the 2022 winner, Enric Mas, are among other top names already confirmed for the start of the race.
Start and finish times:
The race will begin at 11:20 AM (local time) in Carpi and is expected to finish around 4:45 PM (local time) at the Basilica of San Luca in Bologna.
Please note that for Brazil, you should subtract five hours to adjust for the Italian time zone.
The final 3 km will determine the race. The last climb includes sections with an 18% gradient, which will undoubtedly select the contenders for victory.
