Six World Tour teams are competing for the Danish multiple champion

Albert Withen Philipsen is attracting the interest of several World Tour teams. One of these teams is Jumbo-Visma. His agent, Alex Carera, confirmed this to the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.

The other teams mentioned are UAE Team Emirates, INEOS Grenadiers, Lidl-Trek, Bahrain Victorious, and Alpecin-Deceuninck. “In the final choice, the sporting aspect comes first,” Carera emphasizes.

Philipsen began to draw the attention of all these teams when, in his first year in the junior category, he became the world road champion, European road champion, and European and world mountain bike champion. He is also the Danish road and time trial champion.

“The most important thing is not the financial aspect but that it’s a team with a good plan for Albert,” concluded his agent.

The team that manages to sign Philipsen will have to wait until 2025 to use him. Next year, the Danish rider, who was born on September 3, 2006, will still be a junior.
