Remco Evenepoel was involved in a crash after colliding with a woman, shortly after crossing the finish line of the 2nd stage of the Vuelta a España.
Immediately after, Remco Evenepoel was visibly angered. While he was certainly pleased with the victory, after the third consecutive incident, he lashed out at the Vuelta organization. ‘This is ruining my ambitions,’ he said, among other things.
When the adrenaline and shock from the incident had subsided a bit, he posted a video message through his team’s Twitter account. Remco Evenepoel’s mood is visibly much better than it was immediately after.
