Primoz Roglic was invited to the presentation of the Giro 2024 route on Friday night. The Slovenian shared his thoughts on the route and, of course, reminisced about his 2023 victory. “It was amazing,” he said.
Roglic watched a video with highlights from the Giro. “It brought back many wonderful memories. It’s good to remember beautiful things. Winning the Giro was one of the most exciting days of my career. It was incredible. It’s fun to relive it all and be a part of it.”
Roglic reveals the last opportunity for overall victory in 2024
“The route will be a bit different at the Giro next year. There are tough finishes and many time trials. Regardless of the stage length, the Giro is always a tough Grand Tour. The closer you get to the end, the more decisive the stages will be,” Roglic told the American site CyclingNews. “The Monte Grappa stage (stage 20) will be the last opportunity to try something.”
