The “Telefónica” team presented itself on Saturday, December 09, to begin its base training in Costa Blanca, Alicante. The activities are expected to continue until December 20, when the team concludes its Training Camp for its 45th season in the elite of world cycling.
Just before Christmas, Movistar Team gathers all 29 members of its men’s team in Calpe (Alicante, Spain) to cover the only Training Camp of the 2024 pre-season.
Movistar Team’s stay will include, in addition to the long and usual road training sessions, physical and technical tests, commitments with sponsors and VIPs, as well as other special events for the team.
It is the first time that Nairo Quintana, whose return to Movistar Team was announced a few days after the initial stage, in which the team was in Pamplona, will share efforts with his new teammates on European soil.
