One of the Lidl-Trek team’s top sprinters and a prominent figure in the cycling world has unveiled all the locations and dates where he will compete in the 2024 season.
Starting his journey on January 31 at Etoile de Bessèges, Pedersen will continue his participation in the Tour de la Provence and Paris-Nice before embarking on his quest for glory in the classics, beginning on March 16 in Italy with Milan-Sanremo.
Belgian classics in the schedule
After Milan-Sanremo, Pedersen shifts his focus to the Belgian Classics, participating in a quartet of one-day races. Initially, he will be present at the E3 Saxo Classic on March 22, followed by a return to the scene of one of his significant victories, Gent Wevelgem, on March 24.
Subsequently, attention turns to the Flanders Classics, including Dwars door Vlaanderen and the Tour of Flanders, concluding Pedersen’s March calendar.
After securing a notable fourth place in Paris-Roubaix earlier this year, Pedersen aims to step onto the podium this time, tackling the cobbles on April 7 before returning to racing in the Criterium du Dauphiné.
Tour de France on the program
Next, the focus will be on the Grand Tours. Firstly, the Tour de France, with a brief break scheduled between that event and the Vuelta a España. Paris-Bourges and Paris-Tours mark the end of the season for the Danish cyclist.
