Lotto Dstny certainly, concerned about the turmoil in the transfer market, quickly decided to terminate the contract with Arnaud De Lie and create an entirely new contract, now extended until the end of 2026, with more attractive terms for the 21-year-old athlete.
“Extending with Lotto Dstny was a logical choice for me. The team showed a lot of confidence in me from the start, and that immediately made me feel very comfortable. Additionally, the project that the management proposed to me for the coming years is very promising. The team cares about every detail and continues to invest in performance to bring out the best in its cyclists. All of these factors ensured that I stayed happy,” reveals De Lie.
Of course, CEO Stéphane Heulot is also delighted now that one of the biggest talents in the peloton has signed for two more seasons. “Looking ahead, extending Arnaud De Lie’s contract was a priority. We are therefore very pleased that one of the biggest Belgian cycling talents will stay on board with Lotto Dstny for a longer period.”
“Everyone in the team, including Arnaud himself, is convinced that there is still a significant room for growth. This long-term commitment gives us the opportunity to take the next steps within Lotto Dstny, so we can achieve our goals together with Arnaud. We are looking forward to what the future holds,” concludes the team manager.
