L’Équipe newspaper reveals the signing of a young Frenchman, only 19 years old, for the Soudal Quick-Step main team

The talented French cyclist Paul Magnier will compete for the Soudal Quick-Step main team in 2024. This information was revealed by the sports newspaper L’Équipe. Initially, the 19-year-old cyclist was set to be part of the development team, but it has been decided that he will immediately join the WorldTour peloton.

Magnier is not limited to road competitions; he also participates in mountain biking. In 2023, he will compete for the Trinity Racing team.

In August, competing on the road, he secured the second place in the final stage of the Tour du Limousin, representing the British Continental team. In a closely contested sprint finish, he finished behind Hugo Page but ahead of Luca Mozzato and Benoît Cosnefroy. Subsequently, he secured the bronze medal in the road race for young talents at the European Championships held in Drenthe.
