Following the rumors involving the INEOS Grenadiers and Movistar teams, it now appears that BORA-hansgrohe is the team with the best credentials to have Primoz Roglic on board in 2024, according to the renowned journalist from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ciro Scognamiglio, in a tweet. He reported that, unless there are “last-minute surprises,” the deal has been officially concluded.
Primoz Roglic with a Specialized bike
Danish journalist Daniel Friebe and his Belgian colleague Benji Naesen had previously released information regarding Roglic and BORA-hansgrohe. The Danish journalist reports that Roglic was at the Red Bull Athletic Performance in Salzburg with a Specialized bike from BORA. Naesen confirms the connection with BORA but is not yet one hundred percent certain.
Red Bull is a partner of BORA. Together, they run the Red Bull Junior Brothers project, for instance, where they search for new talent in cycling. According to a previous report, Roglic would earn six million per year with his new team.
