INEOS Grenadiers has chosen to use Prologo saddles for the 2024 season. This marks the first time in 12 years that the team’s bikes will not feature Fizik saddles.
The agreement signifies the team’s partnership with Prologo, an Italian brand that had previously supplied saddles during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
In a press statement, the team expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership: “We are excited to welcome Prologo as our exclusive technical partner for saddles. Prologo’s experience in designing and manufacturing saddles for professional road and cross-country teams aligns perfectly with our vision to achieve success through innovation. We are confident that this partnership will bring benefits to our team, contributing to our ongoing pursuit of excellence in road and off-road racing.”
Since the last collaboration with Prologo, many changes have occurred in the team, with all victories in the Tour de France taking place after the transition to Fizik saddles. Aligning with the trend of many modern teams, INEOS Grenadiers has also expanded its activities, supporting the off-road ambitions of Pauline Ferrand-Prévot and Tom Pidcock.
Prologo will take over the supply of saddles for the team in all disciplines, supporting their aspirations on the road, off-road, and on the track, where Filippo Ganna will seek to defend his title in the Individual Pursuit at the Paris Olympics in 2024.
