
Matteo Spreafico will have an opportunity to resume his career in 2024. After a three-year suspension in October 2020, resulting from two positive anti-doping tests for the substance Ostarine during the Giro d’Italia of the same year.
Now, the Italian cyclist has been cleared to compete again. In a few weeks, he will return to the peloton, now representing the Mg.K Vis-Colors for Peace team. The Italian continental-level team announced the signing of the talented 30-year-old cyclist on their official Facebook page.
The winner of the Vuelta a Venezuela in 2018, Spreafico gained experience competing in the Italian ProTeams Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec and Vini Zabu-KTM from 2017 to 2020.
