Uno-X has been active in the transfer market in recent weeks: the Norwegian team has bolstered its roster with, among others, Magnus Cort Nielsen, Andreas Leknessund, and Jonas Hvideberg. However, there are also impending departures of several Danish riders.
According to the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Lasse Norman Leth (31), Jonas Gregaard (27), Niklas Eg (28), and Jacob Hindsgaul (23) are on their way out of the Norwegian team. Their contracts are expiring, and they will need to seek new employment opportunities. Niklas Larsen is also in anticipation: the 26-year-old rider’s contract is also expiring, but it’s not yet clear whether he will also be leaving.
Ekstra Bladet sought clarification from the Uno-X team management, but the team refrained from commenting. Currently, the roster comprises 27 cyclists contracted for 2024. The team holds significant ambitions for the upcoming years. In the next cycle of category changes for the WorldTour in 2026, the team led by Jens Haugland aims to ascend to the highest level.
With Magnus Cort Nielsen and Andreas Leknessund, the team has already managed to attract two top cyclists for the upcoming year. Jonas Iversby Hvideberg (Team DSM-Firmenich), Markus Hoelgaard (Lidl-Trek), Rasmus Bøgh Wallin (Restaurant Suri-Carl Ras), and Carl-Frederik Bévort, Johannes Kulset, and Sakarias Koller Løland (Uno-X training team) are the other newcomers.
