Antwan debuted for the Portuguese team at the beginning of the year
Tolhoek has competed for the Sabgal-Anicolor Cycling Team, a Portuguese continental team, since January 1st, having made his debut last Sunday, where he finished in 19th position. He was due to contest the Figueira Champions Classic next week and then the Tour of the Algarve, but for now both events are off his schedule.
Antwan Tolhoek previously competed for the Lidl-Trek team
Before joining the Portuguese team, Tolhoek raced for Lidl-Trek (Trek-Segafredo), but had a difficult period in his career during the last few years. After his contract with the WorldTour team was not renewed, he joined the Continental Sabgal/Anicolor Cycling Team.
