British cyclist Oscar Onley, from the Dutch dsm-firmenich PostNL team, aged just 21, suffered a fall during the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and fractured his collarbone. The team confirmed the incident through an official announcement.

The clavicle fracture was confirmed after further medical assessment carried out at a hospital in Australia. The dsm-firmenich PostNL team assured that it will provide all the necessary support for the cyclist to recover.
The start of the season for the young Brit was incredible. Onley was first across the finish line on the difficult Willunga Hill Tour Down Under course, beating favorites Stephen Williams, Jonathan Narvaez and Julian Alaphilippe. His excellent performance guaranteed him fourth place in the overall competition.
