Unlike previous years, when the team had leaders like Nairo Quintana and aimed for the overall classification, Arkéa Samsic has opted for a lineup focused on stage wins.
The French team will support the strong sprinter Hugo Hofstetter and also the talented Kévin Vauquelin, among others. The latter has already impressed during this year’s French circuit. He won the Tour des Alpes Maritimes et du Var and the Tour du Jura Cycliste. The 22-year-old cyclist is making his debut in a grand tour.
