Fergus Browning (Trinity Racing) won the Men’s Under-23 Road Race at the Australian National Road Championships this Saturday, managing to overcome a challenging situation as the athlete was “hit by a car” during a final preparatory training session the day before.

Breakaway three laps before the finish
Browning won the sprint against Matthew Greenwood (Team BridgeLane), who went solo three laps before the end of the 139.2 km race on the Buninyong circuit. Greenwood was caught by Browning on the final lap as the Trinity rider took advantage of the diminishing gap to escape the chase.
