Curious as to why, he knows I never quit a race,” Zigart shared during an interview with NOS. “This immediately concerned him. He expressed a desire to abandon the race. I responded firmly: you are not going home, this is the Tour.” Following Žigart’s recovery and release from the hospital, her condition stabilized, setting her on the path to recuperation.
