Primoz Roglic leads the Jumbo-Visma team in the Giro dell’Emilia, but before the race, the Slovenian was asked about rumors regarding his future.
Speaking to Cycling Pro Net before the race, Roglic dismissed speculation and confirmed that he will indeed leave the Jumbo-Visma team in the coming days. “I can confirm for sure that I will be leaving the team,” Roglic announced. “But we want to share all the details only after all the races I have to do, so I remain focused on the races.”
If Roglic hopes for a farewell victory in the Giro dell’Emilia, he will face strong competition from a star-studded field, including Tadej Pogacar, Enric Mas, and many more.
