Tadej Pogačar is under contract with the UAE Team Emirates until the end of 2027. However, Pogačar’s agent, Alex Carrera, was contacted by the management of INEOS Grenadiers between the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. Carrera stated to GCN: “They are interested, for sure.”
“If INEOS Grenadiers is interested in hiring Tadej, they should talk to UAE Team Emirates. INEOS’s goal is to remain one of the top teams in the world, and that means you need the best riders. They asked if Tadej is currently finishing his contract, I can confirm that, but I told them he still has a contract.”
GCN tried to contact INEOS Grenadiers and UAE Team Emirates, but both declined to comment on the matter.
