Starting in 2024, Ag2r Citroën Team will lose its primary sponsor, as the automobile brand is withdrawing from its long-standing partnership with the French team.
According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, in 2024, Citroën will no longer appear on the jerseys as the automaker did not renew its sponsorship contract.
Replacement could be another traditional French brand
Le Parisien also suggests that the replacement could be Van Rysel, a well-known brand for bicycles and cycling equipment, owned by the Decathlon group. However, this substitution could result in a significant budget reduction for the team. There are even rumors in France indicating the potential departure of some cyclists from the team.
