The Bahrain-Victorious team has announced the signing of four talented young cyclists. Alberto Bruttomesso, Finlay Pickering, Zak Erzen, and Kasper Borremans have all agreed to contracts with the WorldTour-level team, but they will initially begin their careers competing for Bahrain-Victorious’ feeder teams.
According to the team, these four young riders will eventually end up in their development system. “We are pleased to announce Bahrain Victorious’ new vision and contracts, which emphasize the development of young talents. Through our collaboration with Cycling Team Friuli (U23), Cannibal Victorious (U19), and the establishment of the Bahrain Cycling Academy, we will be creating a comprehensive system that allows young cyclists to develop and reach their full potential.”
“By embracing the talent and passion of the youth, we aim to create a better future for cycling,” said director Milan Erzen. It’s worth noting that the director is Zak’s father, who has just received a contract.
