Tom Dumoulin shows that he is still in top form in another competition; watch the video

Around 32,000 sports enthusiasts participated in the Amsterdam Marathon and Half Marathon this Sunday. At the start of the half marathon was none other than Tom Dumoulin. The former Giro winner has been a runner for some time now, but he seems to be capable of covering longer distances as well.

“This was a very cool experience,” Dumoulin wrote on his Instagram account. “I aimed for a time well below one hour and fifteen minutes but found a good group that was a bit faster.”

The effort took its toll on the former Giro winner and world time trial champion, who left cycling after last year’s Clásica San Sebastian. “I think I won’t be able to walk for two weeks,” he joked.
