With just two months remaining until the third edition of the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior, scheduled for February 12, 2024, the route has been revealed. It promises to be challenging and spectacular, featuring dirt sections during the race.
The Caja Rural de Jaén team continues to provide strong support for this cycling competition that traverses the Sea of Olives, showcasing the beauty of the province of Jaén and connecting the World Heritage Cities of Úbeda and Baeza.
Challenging route
The route will depart from Baeza and traverse Linares towards Ibros, where the ascent towards several crucial sections will commence, including the steep sector of Antonio Machado, one of the memorable attack sites from previous editions. Cruz de Jaboneros and Soledades will be key stretches before reaching Úbeda.
The route will continue with challenging climbs and descents, taking the cyclists through picturesque landscapes to the final circuit of 20.4 kilometers. This circuit will connect Úbeda and Baeza, defining the race with three intense and challenging laps that will test the cyclists on the Paths of Olivos: Virgen de la Salud and Soledades.
