As the festive season approaches, if you’re considering acquiring an extraordinary gift, this might be the ideal present. BikeRoom is making available the actual Time Trial bicycle used by Tadej Pogačar in the 2023 season for sale.
This Italian dealer of WorldTour racing bicycles, with several years of experience, has gained renown for trading bikes from famous teams such as EF Pro Cycling, Team Cofidis, Astana Qazaqstan, Bike Exchange, among others.
Public sale starts on December 12
The latest addition to their inventory is a unique rarity: the Colnago TT1 Time Trial bicycle, which made its debut in the 2022 Tour de France and was used by the Slovenian in four competitions throughout 2023. Being one of only four models produced, it does not have a fixed price. Instead, it will be auctioned, starting with a private sale on December 11 and open to the public on December 12, closing on December 18.
The bicycle will be auctioned, and BikeRoom predicts that the selling price will exceed 30,000 euros.
Only 4 units worldwide
Of the four existing units, this is the only one available for sale, as the other three have already been acquired. The first is in the hands of Pogačar himself, the second belongs to a generous Saudi supporter of the team, and the third was gifted to Richard Mille, the luxury watch sponsor of the UAE Team Emirates, whose products are valued at around $200,000 and are frequently used by professional cyclists, including Pogačar.
The auction winner will have the unique opportunity to own a bicycle ridden by Pogačar in various competitions. Although it’s not clear in which specific race this bike was used, it may have participated in the World Championship in Glasgow, the 16th stage of the Tour de France, or even the victory in the National Time Trial Championship in June.
