Bauke Molliema achieved his first podium in 2024. Not in a cycling race, but in a race. The 37-year-old Dutchman took the podium in Monaco, where he lives, after a ten-kilometre race.
Mollema clocked an incredible time of 31 minutes and 48 seconds, for an average speed of 19 kilometers per hour!
He finished fourth overall among all participants, but was the best in his age category (35-39 years). There were 814 participants in total, 76 in the Mollema category.
