Andreas Leknessund is gearing up for the upcoming cycling season, facing extreme weather conditions. The 24-year-old Norwegian cyclist from DSM Firmenich, who will join Uno-X on January 1, posted on his Instagram training in extremely low temperatures, reaching 24 degrees below zero.
Leknessund keeps a good sense of humor
With some ice crystals suspended on his gear, Leknessund recorded a video on his Wahoo, revealing a temperature of minus 24 degrees. The surrounding landscape was covered in snow, but even so, Leknessund maintained a good sense of humor, laughing and giving a thumbs-up.
During the training, Leknessund wore the DSM-Firmenich Team uniform. After three years with the Dutch team, he will return to Uno-X next year. In the previous season, the talented Norwegian cyclist secured the eighth position in the Giro d’Italia, where he also wore the pink jersey for five days.
