In nine days, The Gran Camiño will begin in A Coruña, in northern Spain. The stage race will feature a Time Trial and three stages in mountainous terrain. The organizers are excited about the impressive list of participants, including defending champion Jonas Vingegaard, David Gaudu, Carlos Rodriguez, Richard Carapaz, Cian Uijtdebroeks, Egan Bernal and Nairo Quintana.
The different leaders’ t-shirts were revealed on Tuesday, and the organization announced something new. Fashion brand Zara designed the sweaters. “The textile giant is entering cycling and has chosen The Gran Camiño as its debut,” she declared.
