At a cycling gala in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, Tadej Pogacar was named the Slovenian cyclist of the year for the fourth consecutive year on Tuesday night. However, at one point during the party, the spotlight turned to Primoz Roglic.
When the 34-year-old cyclist, who will ride for BORA-hansgrohe from 2024, was called to the podium, he showed that he still mastered ski jumping. He demonstrated an exercise that ski jumpers use as a warm-up and was assisted by the presenter, who managed to keep Roglic’s 65 kilograms in the air.
Roglic completed the telemark landing, which is also his typical victory gesture when honored on the podium as the winner of a race.
