Matej Mohoric, famous downhill specialist, once again showed his skills by attacking in the downhill stage of the Tour of Valencia. The Bahrain-Victorious cyclist dared, took risks and managed to open up a significant margin of advantage.
In the second stage of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, the cyclists had to face the challenging Alto Pla de Corrals, a third category climb. And to increase the difficulty, the beginning of the stage was also marked by several climbs.
The Alto Pla de Corrals is not the most demanding climb of the Tour of Valencia. At just over five km and an average gradient of just 4%, with some points reaching 6%, the climb is not the most difficult that cyclists will encounter on this tour. However, it promised to be a challenging final stage.
